Nick chuckled, thinking of the most wittiest come back that anyone could have come up with, “We’re waiting for the car.” Chelsea groaned, trying her hardest not to slap Nick on the shoulder and scream, demanding on what they were going to do. She never really liked surprises, so naturally waiting in high anticipation after coming off of a long flight wasn’t on her list of favorite things. “Nicholas…” She whined. Nick looked at her with a cocked head and a raised eyebrow, one of those looks that usually gets her to be quiet. But, knowing how persistent she is, Nick slipped his plump fingers into her own, threading them tightly and then putting it to rest on her hip, pulling them closer. As much as this usually gets her to be quiet, she couldn’t stop. She had to know what was going on at all costs or it freaked her out. And Nick, knowing exactly how she ticks, did the exact opposite. “Sometimes I question why I love you.” she said. Nick rolled his eyes when he saw the headlights of his desired Mustang come through the airport pick up line. Chelsea looked in the direction he was looking in and sharply sighed, “So we just waited for your Mustang?” Nick let a dark chuckle rumble through his lips, “Not exactly.” “Oh my god I hate you.” she groaned, getting angrier at the second. Nick quickly stepped in, pressing a lovely kiss to her temple, and telling her not to worry. But he knew that saying the exact words ‘don’t worry’ would make her worry. So instead, he tried something different. “Just get in the car and live a little.” he said as he took his spot in the driver’s seat. Chelsea sighed annoyingly, rolling her eyes. Nick wasn’t about to find out how much this was turning her on to be with a mysterious fiend, but he’ll never know. “I love you Chels.” he said wholeheartedly.
