“Daddy!” Nick’s ears perk up as he hears his little girl’s call. He looks to the side and smiles, crossing his arms across his green guitar as his wife tries to hold her back. Nick nods to her, and when his wife lets her go, his little girl barrels towards Nick, running speedily as her little feet padded around on the stage. Joe and Kevin hold out a hand as she gives them high fives, Nick watching the crowds reaction turn from smiles to cheers. Nick kneels down, opening his arms wide as she curls her arms around his neck, smiling as she feels her small lips on his cheek. “How are you baby girl?” he asks. She giggles, “I’m great daddy! I went to school and saw my friends, and then mommy said you were on stage so I wanted to come see you.” she said, turning around to see the sea of people behind her. Nick laughs as he sits on the ground, strumming a few chords as he looks up at her, “You wanna sing a song?” Nick asks. His daughter nods frantically, and Nick starts to sing a song, “When you look me in the eyes…” he starts off, and his daughter smiles, crooked teeth and all as she sings with him, “And tell me that you love me.” Nick laughs as Joe hands her a microphone, and Nick turns her around as the crowd claps for her to continue singing. “My little superstar.” Nick says, listening and watching her waltz around, singing.
