This is the tumblr for the short stories of the imagination right in my brain. Suggestions will gladly be taken in my ask box. Please enjoy these small stories of imagery!
“Football, are you serious right now?” she asked in incredible disbelief as Nick stood with his feet buried in the sand, a childish grin plastered across his face. He nodded, way too enthusiastic, saying “Yeah come on! I know how much you used to play.” She rolled her eyes, sighing, “Yes, Nicholas, that’s because I grew up in a house with seven other boys. I was left to fend for myself and the only way I could cope was when playing football with them.” Nick shook the blue and green ball in her direction, showing her that he wasn’t gonna give up without a fight. But she wasn’t budging. “Babe, this isn’t the Superbowl, this is our honeymoon. That means you need to come over here and give me a kiss….hubby.” She added the last part with a wink in his direction, mostly because she knows how long he’s been waiting to hear it from her since they got married two days ago. Nick instantly dropped the football, leaving it buried in the sand without a care as he sauntered over to her, smirk in tact, and he watched her face turn curious as to what he was going to do. Nick bent over, placing both big hands on the side of her face, and ever so slowly pressed his lips to her forehead, then her nose, and finally—the best for last, and his favorite—her lips. Ever so silently he whispered in between breaths, “I love you…wifey.” And she giggled, not quite adjusting to that new title.
