This is the tumblr for the short stories of the imagination right in my brain. Suggestions will gladly be taken in my ask box. Please enjoy these small stories of imagery!
Using her pinky to pop an unusually large bubble, Allie swirled her finger around the large amount of bubbles that she had filled in the tub before running hot water over it. She curled the towel tighter around her waist upon hearing a light knock at the door. She swallowed, quickly becoming nervous because she knew that Joe would walk through the door any moment, seeing something he had only twice before. When Joe opened the door, shock covered his face to see both the running water and Allie dressed in nothing but a towel, “I um…I figured that since you had to go write songs all day and that I had to be a hostess all day that you and I could use a hot bath.” She didn’t know why all of a sudden she had grown nervous, but seeing Joe’s easy smile calmed her nerves. And as if someone had turned play on a stop motion movie, Joe’s clothes seemed to peel off of him like dead petals falling onto a hard wood table. There was nothing standing between Joe and Allie except the towel she had clinging around her chest. Joe’s big paw toyed at the wrap, knowing that in a minute it would be on the ground. And with a swift twitch, the towel lay on the floor at her feet, the coldness of the bathroom enveloping her in such a swift way that goosebumps sprinkled over her body. Joe stepped in the bathtub first, holding Allie’s hand as she stepped in also. With all nervousness feelings aside, Joe made the move to sponge a very loving kiss to the top of Allie’s forehead, only to be interrupted by a tiny white squirt gun being held in Allie’s hand, “Pew.” she said, void of all seriousness. And to mix their laughter, Joe quickly snatched the squirt gun and started spraying merciless shots of water onto Allie’s face, not bothering to hear her merciless begging and pleading to stop.

Joe’s ears picked up a familiar sound, and upon looking at the door he looked up just in time to see a familiar face appear through the door. “Anyone home?” she asked looking at Joe’s soft smile. She clicked her tongue approvingly as she swung her hips around the open door. The click of the door permeated the quiet room as Joe’s eyes gazed onto the paper’s he was holding onto, and in a panic mode, he suddenly shoved them under his large sweater he was wearing in hopes that she wouldn’t notice. And for a moment, he thought she didn’t. “Why are you home alone on this glorious winter day?” she asked, climbing across his extended legs and curling over his body. Joe felt the soft, homey feeling of her cheek fitting into the nape of his neck and shrugged, “I dunno. Snow gets old sometimes.” he replied. And in return she scoffed, and knowing her, Joe could sense that he was covering something up. And much to Joe’s dismay, he could already feel her fingers play with the hem of his sweater. “Please don’t.” he groaned. She giggled, flipping her hair over her shoulder to straddle his hips, gently pawing down his chest, purring, “Secrets, secrets are no fun unless they’re shared with everyone.” Joe rolled his eyes, trying not to let her touch ignite something else, “Shut up.” But still she remained persistent in the search for the paper’s Joe so easily hid, and after nearly finding it, Joe grabbed her wrists in one swift motion, keeping them held with one hand and throwing her over until they switched places, “You don’t tease me baby, that’s my job.” And he slowly began to sprinkle an array of kisses everywhere but her lips, earning sounds from her that he hadn’t heard before.

Pulling the covers farther over her head, Evelyn prayed, even pleaded, that Joe wasn’t like all the other guys she had dated. The other guys, you know, the sleep over then ditch guys. Inviting the guy over was always Evelyn’s test of the relationship, but when Evelyn peeked over her red down comforter the next morning, she breathed a huge sigh of relief which caused Joe to stir in his peaceful sleep. With slow flutters, Joe’s eyes breathed to life and his long eyelashes lifted to look in Evelyn’s direction, “Morning.” he muttered. The word stirred Evelyn’s already complicated emotions but she smiled anyway. She pushed the down comforter off her stomach and drifted over towards Joe’s shirtless torso. She kissed him on the bare shoulder, something she had done once thought of doing before. The simple action only caused Evelyn to become more aware of what their relationship had become. Suddenly, Joe sighed before he caught sight of her white tank top carving her figure in the sunlight, noticing something dark on the outer crease of her elbow. “What’s what?” he asked as his fingers darted towards her skin, pointing out her drawing. Evelyn hadn’t remembered what was there, nor did she totally forget, but the story behind it always reminded her to smile, “When I turned eighteen, my parents told me that I could travel to three places outside of the US. I chose Greece, Nice and Rio, and ever since then I’ve had the hunger to travel somewhere else but never had the chance to, so I have this tattoo to remind me that there’s so much more of the world to explore and so little time to do so.” Joe nodded soaking in her information, prodding her with reluctant topaz eyes. Evelyn sighed hoping he wasn’t confused, but then watched a sweet grin draw on his face, “That’s just like me.” he said. “Oh?” Evelyn questioned, feeling Joe’s touch sprawl over her arm. Joe nodded as he drew a soft heart with his finger over her airplane tattoo, “Touring everywhere is fun but there’s rarely any downtime. I’ve been everywhere but China and I don’t remember anything from it cause all I did was play music.” Evelyn watched regret flash on Joe’s eyes, and for a moment she felt bad for him. Flickering her eyes at her tattoo, she smiled, “Well maybe you can meet me in Paris one day. We’ll see the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben together sipping on French coffee and eat some croissants.” Joe let out a soft putter of a laugh and nodded, “That’s definitely a deal. I’m keeping you on that.” Evelyn silently revealed her smile to Joe and watched as slowly pulled her arm and pressed a simple kiss to her dark memory on her skin.

“I always hated to be the bearer of bad news,” Kevin started with a saddened look, “But Claire is gone.” Joe’s heart dropped. This isn’t fair, Joe thought. His brain was screaming at him to run away from the room, regardless of all the people waiting outside. “What the fuck to you mean she’s gone?” Joe spat. Kevin raised his hands in self defense, “I don’t know. I went to go check up on her and she was gone. There was just this note.” he said. Kevin handed Joe a folded up piece of paper. Joe snatched it from him and tore it open, his eyes bleeding onto the page. ‘I freaked out, Joseph, and I’m sorry. If you must know where I am, I am where we first met.’ Joe grit his teeth and looked Kevin in the eye and at that moment, the special connection he and Kevin had was put to the test. Leaving the church, Joe booked it in his car, speeding as fast as the speed limit allowed him. Swerving and curving, Joe cared less about the possible accident he could get in. The moment he spotted his girl in white, sitting like a perfect painting silhouette was the moment he wanted. Her perfect pale skin in perfect contrast to her white dress taped onto her body seemed to have taken Joe’s breath away. But, with the matter at hand, Joe ran desperately in Claire’s direction. She shied away from him, knowing how mad he might be. Standing idle footed behind her, Joe gulped, “Do…do you not want to marry me? Or something? Cause I’m so confused.” Joe whimpered with a soft pout. Claire sighed, turning around as a solid tear fell down her cheek. She slowly stood up and stood in front of Joe, twenty paces away, “Of course I want to marry you Joseph, you don’t know how long I’ve waited for this day—” “Then why are you running?” He asked. She shrugged, “You seem too perfect to marry and I’m so scared you won’t love me anymore.” Joe bit his lip and in two quick, long strides, his lips were pressed on hers, forcing her to forget every fear she ever learned about marrying him. “You’re the light of my world, Claire, and no storm could take that away. You’ll be all I ever need forever. Understand?” Claire nodded, holding onto reality as it gripped her by the cheeks and said, “I love you.”

“Joseph can I speak to you for a moment?” were the words Joe’s ears were met with. He was visiting his girlfriend of eleven months for the second time, and Jasmine had warned him about how strict he is, but Joe was being the oblivious, confident one. Joe got up from the couch, pressing a quick kiss to her forehead and saying, “Wish me luck Jazz.” Joe offered a friendly hand to her father, in which he blatantly denied with an evil look which turned Joe’s friendly demeanor into a warned glance. “Joseph, you and my daughter are getting pretty serious now, and I really, really want you to know that if you ever, ever, hurt my daughter, so help me I will personally hunt you down and fucking lock you in an underground cellar. You hear me?” he said, throwing a strong glance in Joe’s direction, which made him fear for his life. But, as most of these situations go, Joe feels differently towards Jasmine. She’s not like all the other girls he’s been with, so when this situation arose, Joe knew that the truth would be different, “Sir, I’m not one to speak on this situation, but your daughter is wondrously special to me. She’s talented, genuine, spectacular and just down to earth. If anything she’s too good for me, and I don’t deserve her,” Joe licked his lips as he caught a quick glimpse of Jasmine looking back at him, “Jasmine is a goddess in my eyes, sir, and if I hurt her I’d never live it down. I promise you she will not be hurt by anyone, much less me. I’ll protect her, no matter what happens. I promise.” He affirmed, offering his hand again, which, to his surprise Jasmine’s father gripped with a stern fervor, agreeing to Joe’s words.

“Left hand blue!” Danielle shrieked excitedly, causing Kevin to laugh as he draped his arm around her shoulder casually. She giggled as Nick groaned in annoyance, trying to find space in between Joe and his girlfriend. He tried to decipher it, but in the end he shrugged, “I give up.” And he walked away, leaving Joe and Amy to fight for themselves. “Spin again Dani, I wanna kick her ass.” Joe said, causing Amy to giggle as she had a right hand stretched on red, a left leg placed strategically on yellow, and she was awaiting her next turn. Dani flicked the plastic black clock hand on the cardboard, watching as she figured out Joe’s fate, “Right leg yellow!” Joe chuckled, figuring out that it was extremely easy. He slithered his leg in between Amy’s bent arm and stayed there, shouting, “I am the master of Twister!” all to confidently. Amy rolled her eyes, “Just roll it again.” She said in her extremely thick Georgia accent. Joe smiled, loving every minute of hearing her speak. “Hmm,” Dani hummed, watching the clock hand spin to a stop, “Left hand blue!” Amy chuckled, throwing her chocolate russet hair over her shoulder using her one free hand, slithering over Joe’s stretched body, making sure to taunt him in any way possible. Her loose stitched tank top slid over his white v-neck, causing Joe to cough as though something was stuck in his throat. She smirked, putting her hand down successfully. She bowed her head, allowing a curtain of hair to fall around Joe’s head as she put her lips to his ear, “I’m feelin’ you shake honey bunch, and I don’t think it’s cuz of the Twister.” She said in a southern twang. Joe felt his arms shaking, and all of a sudden he felt his arms collapse under him, causing Amy to let out a shriek stained giggle, “I love you ya sore looser.” Joe groaned in utter defeat, “Love you too.”

“Just, come on Frank, it’ll be over soon.” Joe sighs, holding the door open for the already 16 year old Frankie who had a doctor’s appointment. Frankie had always hated the doctor for some reason…maybe he was scared that he’d find out if he had diabetes like his brother, Nick. Frankie hesitatingly walks in, and they sit down in the waiting room across from other people in need of the doctor’s help. Joe sighs, and all of a sudden he hears a small child’s voice squeal. Upon looking up he could have sworn he took his last breath right then and there, because this…woman he saw was just fascinating beautiful. She’s got stunningly natural red hair, swollen, worn out green eyes, and a fading smile as she furrowed her brow, looking over at her crying little child. Her nose is red and big fat tears roll down her face. Joe doesn’t think, but he gets up from his seat fishing out a handkerchief in his pocket, kneeling down, eye-level to the little girl as he gives her a gentle smile, “Not feeling so good, sweetheart?” he asks, putting the handkerchief under the little girls nose, smiling when she doesn’t react to his touch. Joe wipes her nose, then turning the cloth around to wipe her small tears. She sniffs, and immediately she starts to giggle. “How’d you do that?” the woman asks, her pure voice like honey pouring over Joe’s ears. Joe looked up at her, his crispy golden eyes watching her own carefully, testing, “I have a son her age. I know how to handle these little buggers.” he said, tickling her stomach as both he and she hear her little piercing giggle. Joe looks up at her again, feeling his heart swell as he wonders how a woman can be so beautiful. “I’m Joe.” he says, sticking out his hand for a handshake. She looks at it with a smile, putting her pale hand in contrast to his olive skinned one, “Carolyn. Nice to meet you in a place like this.” She laughed, causing Joe to lose his breath yet again.

“Stop touching me with your foot, that’s so gross!” she squeals, feeling the coldness of Joe’s foot on her calf, his toes spreading onto her leg. She’s not gonna tell Joe how that secretly turns her on the slightest bit, though. The bed rumbles with Joe’s laughter as he continues to touch her leg whilst speaking, “You love me.” She rolls her eyes as she buries her face in the pillow, trying to hide her secret smile. Joe emerges from under the sheets, slowly crawling, gravitating towards her in a animialistic motion. She doesn’t know it, but she cringes as she feels his lips kiss her on the very end of her back, just below where the sheets hang. Slowly and gingerly, he kisses a wet trail upwards her back, finally landing at his prize, her shoulders, in which she’s extremely weak there. Pressing one gentle kiss on her right shoulder blade, he smirks when he hears the bed rumble with a light moan coming from the pillow. This time, he dips his tongue in the divot her shoulder blade created, and then puckered his lips as he blew a puff of cold air out from his lungs. Louder, the moan grew, causing her to cringe inward even more. “I waht thyohu.” Joe’s ears pick up a sound, although he can’t hear what she said. “What was that?” he asked, pushing her hair off her neck, kissing it gently. She flips her face, panting as he climbs lower again, “I want you. Now. Take me please.”

Joe and his girlfriend giggled as they walked, or stumbled, around his apartment packed with people, being all conversational between themselves. The two were a little wasted, mostly because it was a New Year’s party. “You’re gonna be my New Year’s kiss, right?” Joe slurs as they stand outside his balcony, the starry night sky being polluted with rainbow fireworks. Joe’s girlfriend giggles, swirling around her third drink, “You bet.” The team of people behind them started counting down, and Joe and his girlfriend turned to each other at three, and for a sober moment Joe muttered, “Love you baby. Happy New Year.” And their lips succumbed to each other as the staccato of fireworks matched the beats of their hearts.

“Ready? Repeat after daddy. Do re mi fa so la te do.” Joe said, opening his mouth to sing and climb in pitch as he sat at the big black piano next to his daughter. He was trying to see if she had any singing skills whatsoever. “Do me ta la…what?” she giggles. Joe wipes a hand over his face as she had got it wrong for the fifth time in a row. He knew that teaching a four year old would be tough, but not this tough. Let’s try again. “Do re mi,” Joe started, watching his daughter look right at him, “do re mi.” she repeated. Joe nodded, “Good. Fa so la.” he said. His daughter giggled, “Good, fa so la.” she said, lowering her voice to sound like a boy. Joe started laughing, tickling her sides to make her giggle sound round the house. “You’re such a little squirt, you know that?” Joe said as his fingers fluttered over her sides, her most ticklish area, as she let out a piercing laugh. Joe laughed as well, getting caught up in her contagious laugh. I guess he’ll never know if she’ll be a Jonas prodigy or not.
